Divorce laws criticized
In a statement supporting women’s rights, Capernaum preacher Jesus Josephson criticized current divorce procedures. His critics say that if adultery became the only reason for divorce as proposed, husbands would stop being their wives’ rightful owners to do with as they please.
They further warned that the Reverend’s outlook could destabilize society. Referring to a meeting he had with a questionable Samaritan woman, they say his views on women are out of line with contemporary thinking. Others are unhappy about his leniency towards ladies in the escort industry, speculating that it is the reason for his many female followers.
