Doctors treating Mr. Israel Jacobs (formerly known as Jacob
Isaacson) have recommended a hip replacement to correct his limping problem.
Jacobs has had the problem ever since he had what he refers to as ‘an encounter
of the spiritual kind’. The connection between a spiritual experience and a
physical disability was not explained.
