Fig tree no more
Eco-conservationists
are up in arms about roving preacher Jesus of Capernaum, who apparently caused
an indigenous fig tree to die by putting a curse on it. “You don’t just go
around killing fauna because you want to prove a point”, exclaimed a
spokesperson. Even his followers were confused by the preacher’s actions: “It’s
not even fig season!” said Zacchaeus, who is known to be fond of these trees.
