Defense Force members are pleased about suggestions made in the latest edition
of Mountain Messages that citizens
should voluntarily carry soldiers’ gear further than the obligatory 1,478km.
Commenting on the proposed ‘slap-the-other-cheek’-guideline
however, a communications officer warned that this should not be tested on army
